[PROBLEMS] To provide a cyclic silane ester and a solvolysis product. SOLUTION: Hydrogensilane of the general formula: HSix (R 1 ) 2 is converted to a general formula: CH 2 CRCR 3 CH 2- [O (CHR 3 ) x ]. with a compound of the y OH, general formula: CH 2 = CR 3 CH 2- [O (CHR 3 ) x ] y yields a silane ester of OSiH (R 1 ) 2 , which is hydrosilylated to give the general formula IV (R 1 independently represents a hydrolyzable group or an organic group R 2 bonded via a C atom, R 3 represents hydrogen or a methyl group, x represents an integer of 2 to 6, y represents an integer or a fraction of 0 to 60, and z represents an integer of 1 to 6), and optionally reacted with an alcohol of the general formula: R 2 OH. After that, it is reacted with water or alcohol to obtain a solvolysis product. |
