titleOfInvention Nitrogen dioxide removal method
abstract (57) [Summary] [Problem] To provide a NO 2 denitration method in which the denitration performance does not decrease even when the molar ratio of NOx components in the gas to be treated is NO 2 >NO. SOLUTION: The NO 2 denitration method according to the present invention is a NO 2 denitration method in which NO 2 in the gas to be treated is decomposed by selective catalytic reduction using NH 3 as a reducing agent. A substance that reacts with and is oxidized at 300° C. or less is used as a reducing aid. Preferably, ammonia water or urea water is used as the NH 3 supply source, and the reducing aid and NH 3 are used at the same time by dissolving the reducing aid in these aqueous solutions. The reducing aid is preferably a hydrocarbon or an alcohol.
