Improved riboflavin production |
abstract |
(57) [Problem] To provide an improved method for producing riboflavin. A recombinant bacterium, including a bacterium transformed by three vectors or DNA sequences, Two of the three vectors or DNA sequences are each DNA sequence encoding riboflavin synthase activity of Bacillus subtilis or DNA substantially homologous thereto Sequence and one or more transcription elements, and a third vector or DNA sequence comprising a DNA sequence encoding or substantially homologous to the ribA gene product of L. subtilis, and optionally further comprising a transcription element, wherein each transcription vector comprises A recombinant bacterium in which one or more copies have been integrated at three different sites in the chromosome. |
