abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a dynamic shaping device capable of performing dynamic shaping processing of dynamically changing a shaping cell rate in response to a change in a rate of a terminal. A transmission rate of a transmission terminal is predicted based on rate control information detected from a cell going from a reception terminal to a transmission terminal, and the transmission rate is calculated for each virtual path and virtual channel. Each cell stored in the cell buffer 3 for temporarily storing an arrival cell arriving from the transmitting terminal side for each virtual path and each virtual channel is provided as a virtual path of the virtual path. On the basis of the transmission rate information stored in the rate information processing section 8 corresponding to the virtual channel, the read control section 6 reads the data at predetermined intervals and transmits the data to the receiving terminal.
