(57) [Summary] [Problem] When discarded in water at room temperature, the components of fibers, non-woven fabrics and absorbent articles can be rapidly opened to separate pieces. To obtain a water-disintegrable fiber which can be treated as it is without causing clogging of piping in the middle even when it is poured into a sewage from a flush toilet or a kitchen, and a nonwoven fabric and an absorbent article made using the fiber. SOLUTION: A composite fiber containing a water-disintegrable starch-based polymer in a sheath component, and a nonwoven fabric and an absorbent article using the fiber as a binder. |
