titleOfInvention | Coating composition for paper |
abstract | (57) [Problem] To provide a paper coating composition capable of improving the quality of a coated paper, for example, by imparting high ink receptivity and water resistance to paper. SOLUTION: Crosslinking which is a reaction product of an aliphatic amine (a) and a compound (b) selected from aldehydes, glycidyl compounds and isocyanates while containing a pigment (I) and an aqueous binder (II). A paper coating composition comprising a resin component (III) containing an amine compound (A). Resin component (III) is at least a polyamine selected from alkylene diamines and polyalkylene polyamines (c), ureas (d) and crosslinkable compounds selected from aldehydes, epihalohydrins, α, γ-dihalo-β-hydrins, glycidyl compounds and isocyanates It may also contain a water-soluble resin (B) obtained by reacting the three components (e). |
