titleOfInvention | Imaging element for producing improved printing plates by silver salt diffusion transfer method |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging element for producing an improved printing plate by a silver salt diffusion transfer method. SOLUTION: The present invention provides a method for forming a support on a hydrophilic surface, (I) an image receiving layer containing physical development nuclei; (ii) a photosensitive layer containing a silver halide emulsion in water permeable relationship with the image receiving layer; and each being in a water permeable relationship with the image receiving layer. Comprising independently unhardened gelatin (ii An imaging element comprising: i) a first anti-stress layer and (iv) a second anti-stress layer in the order described, wherein the second anti-stress layer has a weight average diameter of at least 30 mg / m 2 and greater than 3 μm. An imaging element comprising a matting agent having the formula: |
