titleOfInvention Methane generation method and methane generation device
abstract (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To obtain a technology capable of usefully recovering waste containing organic matter as methane, and to use a relatively low-grade waste heat for this recovery. A production method and apparatus are obtained. SOLUTION: In a first step, an organic substance is decomposed into carbon dioxide, hydrogen, and an organic acid by a hyperthermophilic hydrogen bacterium, and in a second step, the product produced in the first step is decomposed by a hyperthermophilic methane bacterium. Generates methane.
