titleOfInvention Automatic developing equipment
abstract (57) [Problem] A photographic material containing a quaternary onium compound is formulated so that rapid development processing can be performed, but drying unevenness easily occurs, and image stains due to re-adhesion of eluted substances appear. May significantly impair the processing quality. To provide an automatic developing apparatus capable of performing stable and ultra-rapid processing with high processing quality by eliminating such a phenomenon. SOLUTION: A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material containing a quaternary onium compound is subjected to development, fixing, and washing processes while being transported through a developing unit, a fixing unit, and a washing unit, and then a drying process is performed in a drying unit. In the automatic developing device, a water absorbing roller is disposed downstream of the water repellent roller along the photosensitive material conveying path in the drying section.
