abstract | (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To provide a novel method for producing pig rawhide that can reliably produce a pig rawhide with remarkably high transparency and deodorization and waterproofness that does not take on a yellowish color or smell. The purpose is to: SOLUTION: The raw skin of a pig is subjected to a preparatory step such as a watering step, a backing step, a calcifying step and a demineralizing step, and a formic acid treatment step is performed on the preparation-completed raw skin which has been completed. The raw leather is subjected to a stretching drying process such as boarding or netting, and the dried skin is coated with a clear coat using a clear lacquer or the like. |
