titleOfInvention | Liquid absorbing resin and method for producing the same |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably obtain a liquid-absorbent resin which is excellent in liquid absorbability in a high-concentration electrolyte solution and excellent in liquid absorbability of a hydrophilic organic solvent such as alcohol. SOLUTION: A monomer component containing at least 40 mol% or more of a cyclic vinyl lactam is polymerized in an aqueous solution having a monomer concentration of 25% by weight or more in the presence of a crosslinking agent and a water-soluble azo polymerization initiator. Thus, sodium chloride 0% by weight aqueous solution, 20% by weight aqueous solution of calcium chloride, A liquid-absorbent resin having a total liquid absorption capacity of 90% by weight or more with respect to a 20% by weight aqueous solution of magnesium chloride, and a method for producing the same. |
