abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a magnetic recording medium in which the paint properties of a magnetic paint are improved and the durability is improved. SOLUTION: The magnetic recording medium of the present invention having at least one magnetic layer on a support has a number average molecular weight of 5,000 to 50,000, wherein the magnetic layer contains at least two epoxy groups in one molecule. It is characterized by comprising a binder and a polyurethane compound having at least two primary or secondary amino groups in one molecule and having a number average molecular weight of 500 to 50,000.
