titleOfInvention Process for producing a substantially uniform copolymer of vinylpyrrolidone and N-3,3-dimethylaminopropyl methacrylamide for human care
abstract (57) [Summary]nThe present invention relates to 20 to 99% by weight of vinylpyrrolidone (VP) and 1 to 80% by weight of N-3,3-dimethylaminopropylmethacrylamide (DMAPMA), preferably 50 to 95% by weight of VP and 5 to 50% by weight. A substantially uniform copolymer containing about 200,000 to 1,500,000 weight percent DPM PMA, most preferably about 80:20 VP and DMAPMA by weight, and having a weight average molecular weight of about 200,000 to 1,500,000 Said homogeneous weight having a viscosity level of from about 5,000 to 80,000 cps, preferably from about 10,000 to 70,000 cps, wherein the minute level is from 5 to 20% by weight of the solution, preferably from about 10 to 15% by weight. Provided is a method for producing a combined low-viscosity aqueous solution. The aqueous solution obtained by the process of the present invention has a low viscosity, good clarity, and curl retention (retention) when compared to a heterogeneous copolymer of the same composition or related existing commercial products. ) Provide improved hair care products.
