titleOfInvention | Fasteners for fixing orthodontic appliances to dental implants |
abstract | Removable implant (10) inserted into the jawbone (1) and intended primarily as a dental implant (10) intended as a support for the crown or superstructure. Anchor foundation (30) secured to was prepared for the purpose of preliminary orthodontic treatment. The vertical outer surface of the anchor foundation (30) is designed as an attachment surface (31). The support fitting (50) is secured to the selected attachment surface (31) by the tie layer (60). The orthodontic appliance elements (70, 71) are clamped on this support (50). The anchor base (30) is screwed onto the implant (10) using the anchor screw (80) and in the process is firmly locked in the rotational fine adjustment position. The preferably eccentrically arranged holes (37) facilitate adaptation to spatial conditions and to orthodontic operations. The anchor base (30) fits the implant (10) and the support fitting (50). Once the orthodontics are completely done, the reusable anchor base (30) made of titanium is removed from the implant (10) in a simple manner. Due to the preferred adhesive bonding, contact corrosion between dissimilar metals between the stainless steel support fitting (50) and the anchor base (30) is substantially not a problem. |
