titleOfInvention Method for immobilizing oligonucleotide on solid support material and method using oligonucleotide bound to support
abstract (57) [Summary]nThe present invention provides a method for immobilizing an oligonucleotide directly on a support. The method comprises the steps of contacting the oligonucleotide solution with a solid support material and drying the oligonucleotide solution on the support material. The oligonucleotide and the solid support to which it is immobilized can be used as a capture reagent to immobilize a nucleic acid sequence that is complementary to the immobilized oligonucleotide. In this way, the hybridization ability of the directly immobilized oligonucleotide is maintained. Also provided is a method for measuring the presence or amount of a nucleic acid sequence in a test sample.
