(57) [Summary]nA diaper comprising a liquid permeable topsheet coated with a lotion composition is disclosed. The lotion composition reduces the adhesion of the BM to the wearer's skin, thereby facilitating cleaning and removal of the BM. The lotion composition comprises a plastic or fluid polysiloxane emollient, such as phenyl-functional polymethylsiloxane, and an immobilizer that immobilizes the emollient, such as fatty alcohol or paraffin wax, on the surface of the diaper topsheet. And, optionally, a hydrophilic surfactant that improves the wettability of the coated topsheet. Because the polysiloxane emollient is substantially immobilized on the topsheet surface, less of the lotion composition is required to provide the desired therapeutic or protective effect of the lotion coating. |
