(57) Abstract: A body care composition in the form of an aqueous liquid is i) a lipid composition comprising three components A, B and C, wherein A is at least two hydrocarbon chains and a polar head group. And (a), B is a molecule having one long chain and a polar head group, and C assists the formation of a lipid bilayer and is formed in the lipid composition. Said lipid composition comprising a compound which stabilizes the lipid bilayer, wherein the molar ratio of A: B: C is 1.0: 1.5-6.0: 1.1-8.0, ii) Surfactants selected from anionic, nonionic, cationic, zwitterionic, amphoteric surfactants, soaps and mixtures thereof, and iii) adhesion aids. The composition may, for example, be in the form of a shower gel or facial cleanser that is temporarily applied to the skin and then removed by wiping or rinsing the skin. |
