titleOfInvention Particularly, a polymer having a functional group in a cosmetic composition such as a nail varnish, a method for synthesizing the same, and use of the polymer having a functional group as a surfactant
abstract (57) Abstract The present invention relates to a polymer having a functional group represented by the following formula. : (P) is a hydrophobic polymer chain obtained by radical polymerization of at least one kind of monomer, S represents sulfur, and X is: a saturated or unsaturated linear or straight-chain having 1 to 6 carbon atoms. A branched hydrocarbon chain, free or in the form of a salt (sallfied) hydrocarbon chain substituted with at least one COOH or NH 2 group -2-4 amino acids, especially natural amino acids F represents a free or salt COOH or NH 2 group, excluding ω-dicarboxyl macromonomer resulting from radical polymerization of monomer in the presence of a continuous transfer agent composed of thiomalic acid . The invention also relates to the use of polymers having the above-mentioned functional groups, and to the use of polymers resulting from the radical polymerization of monomers in the presence of thiomalic acid. The above polymers are used as surfactants, in particular as wetting agents, dispersants, stabilizers for dispersed particles or for preparing microdispersions. The present invention also relates to a cosmetic composition containing the above polymer, especially a nail varnish.
