abstract (57) [Summary] A device for supplying fuel from a storage tank (1) to an internal combustion engine (49), wherein an electrically driven feed device (11) is provided, and the feed device (11) is provided. The damming box (3) is filled with fuel from the tank (1) by an injection pump (61) provided on the bottom (8), and a filter is connected forward to a suction opening (65) of the injection pump (61). The filter is formed by at least one annulus consisting of a number of tooth-shaped formations (67) projecting axially from the bottom (8) of the damming box (3), said annulus comprising a suction chamber. (69), and the suction opening of the injection pump protrudes into the suction chamber (69).
