titleOfInvention | Method and apparatus for selecting low pressure mercury discharge lamp |
abstract | (57) Abstract The present invention relates to a method for selecting a low-pressure mercury discharge lamp having a fluorescent film depending on the excitation spectrum of the fluorescent film and the emission spectrum of visible light emitted by the fluorescent film. In the present invention, the fluorescent film is excited by a light source that emits ultraviolet light having a wavelength of about 300 nm, which is arranged outside the low-pressure mercury discharge lamp. This makes it possible to use the presence of a blue fluorescent substance in the fluorescent film as a selection criterion for both leaking low-pressure mercury discharge lamps and complete low-pressure mercury discharge lamps. |
