abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the shortcomings of hydrocarbon solvents and to improve the degreasing ability, drying property and low toxicity of hydrocarbon solvents with respect to machine oils, greases, waxes and other oils. A cleaning agent that retains and reduces the risk of fire. SOLUTION: A composition comprising 100 parts by weight of a saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon and 10 to 50 parts by weight of normal propyl bromide is used as a detergent.
