titleOfInvention | Fructose-1,6-diphosphate (FDP) partially freeze-dried as human injection |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [Problem] Fructose-1,6-diphosphate (F DP) is provided in a dosage form suitable for injection into ischemic or hypoxic patients and patients undergoing cardiac bypass surgery. SOLUTION: The FDP aqueous solution or the salt aqueous solution is freeze-dried until a solid substance having a residual water content of 10% to 25% (weight ratio) is produced, thereby partially freeze-drying FDP or pharmacologically. Provided is a method for producing the acceptable salt. It is particularly desirable that the residual water content is in the range of 12% to 16% (weight ratio), and it is possible to surely reduce the total impurities to 5% or less and any single impurities to 1% or less. This formulation packs FDP into lyophilized vials, By performing the lyophilization process, it is produced inside a closed sterile container. High moisture content does not reduce or limit product stability and shelf life. It can be stored at room temperature for more than one year without substantial loss of purity. |
