PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved method for oxidatively decomposing organic matter in water using a photocatalyst, and to provide an apparatus used in the method. SOLUTION: While filtering an aqueous liquid containing an organic substance which can be oxidized by a porous membrane having a photocatalyst, the porous membrane is irradiated with light for a time sufficient for oxidation of the organic substance, A method of photo-oxidatively decomposing organic substances in an aqueous liquid. |
