titleOfInvention Code division multiple access (CDMA) band spreading apparatus and method
abstract (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To be applied to various systems of a code division multiple access (CDMA) system, user information of various rates can be easily accommodated irrespective of the type of service, and a specific rate can be determined. It is an object of the present invention to provide a code division multiple access type band spreading apparatus capable of reducing interference. A code spread multiple access type band spreading apparatus according to the present invention provides the same code offset as orthogonal code spreading according to the rate of digital bits input to a user channel to accommodate various user data rates. The spreading is not performed by using two long PN codes having the same or the orthogonal code, but only by the long PN code having the different code offset.
