titleOfInvention | Electrostatic image developing toner and method of manufacturing toner |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for developing an electrostatic image, which is excellent in transferability, has good chargeability in each environment and can obtain a high-quality image for a long period of time, and a method for producing the toner. . SOLUTION: In a toner for developing an electrostatic image having toner particles containing at least a binder resin, carbon black, an azo-based iron compound and a metal oxycarboxylate, the toner particles comprise a polymerizable monomer and carbon black. A step of preparing a polymerizable monomer composition containing an azo-based iron compound and a metal oxycarboxylate, and dispersing the polymerizable monomer composition in an aqueous medium to form a polymerizable monomer composition. A toner for developing an electrostatic image, which is produced through a step of forming particles and a step of polymerizing a polymerizable monomer in the particles to form a binder resin. |
