(57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To provide a mesopore material having mesopore holes. SOLUTION: First, a silicon dioxide tetrahedral sheet having a specific shape in which the raw material clay mineral is retained is prepared, and then this is reacted with an alkyl onium salt to form a micelle of an alkyl onium salt formed on the sheet surface. By this operation, the silicon dioxide tetrahedron, which is a constituent unit of the sheet, is dropped by an arbitrary number of units, thereby forming holes having an arbitrary hole diameter in the sheet. A very unique mesopore material in particle shape and pore morphology can be obtained. |
