titleOfInvention Manufacturing method of segment chip
abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a method of manufacturing a segment chip of a cutting wheel having a columnar space in the center of the chip, excellent discharge of grinding fluid and chips, and excellent sharpness. In a method of manufacturing a segment chip for forming a mixed powder of superabrasive grains and a binder by sintering, a center portion of the mixed powder of the superabrasive grains and the binder filled in a sintering mold is made of a water-soluble substance. A cutting whetstone with a columnar space in the center of a chip, characterized by embedding a columnar molded product, sintering a mixed powder of superabrasives and a binder, and then dissolving and removing a water-soluble substance with water. Manufacturing method of segment chip.
