abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alkyl vinyl ether and a glycol ether as a raw material and a collector from a gaseous reaction mixture obtained by subjecting a glycol ether to an intramolecular dehydration reaction in a gas phase. Efficient collection, A method for purification and recovery is provided. SOLUTION: A gaseous reaction mixture is liquefied and collected using glycol ethers as raw materials as a collecting agent. The obtained collected liquid is continuously distilled using the continuous distillation column 2 to distill a distillate containing alkyl vinyl ether and water, while distilling a bottom liquid containing glycol ethers. The distillate is allowed to stand in the separation tank 3 and separated into an oil layer and an aqueous layer, thereby recovering the alkyl vinyl ether as the oil layer.
