titleOfInvention | Drugs for cancer treatment |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a therapeutic agent for cancer comprising an L-ascorbic acid derivative which is stable against oxidation, has excellent absorbability to animal cells, and can efficiently increase the amount of intracellular accumulation. Of cancer and the provision of cancer treatment methods using the same. SOLUTION: When animal cells are cultured in a medium containing an ascorbic acid derivative for 20 hours, compared with a case where L-ascorbic acid-2-magnesium phosphate of 50 μm is used in the medium, the concentration in the medium is equal to or less than 5 μm. For treating cancer comprising an L-ascorbic acid derivative having an ester bond or an ether bond at the 2-position and a hydrophobic group at least at either the 5-position or the 6-position. A drug, and a drug for treating cancer comprising the L-ascorbic acid derivative and at least one antineoplastic agent. |
