titleOfInvention Optical pickup failure determination method and optical pickup inspection device
abstract (57) [Problem] To properly judge a defect even in a lens having a distorted spot shape, such as a resin lens, to shorten the time required for judgment, and reduce rigidity required for the apparatus. Inexpensive and easy to implement. SOLUTION: A density value histogram is created from an entire screen including a spot image obtained by imaging a spot of a laser beam formed on a surface of a simulation disk 6, and a pixel number-luminance distribution corresponding to the density value histogram is calculated. An image processing apparatus 11 and a host computer 10 to be sought are provided. By comparing the pixel number-luminance distribution obtained from the entire screen including the spot image obtained by imaging the spot to be determined with the pixel number-luminance distribution obtained from the entire screen including the ideal spot image, light is obtained. Determine whether the pickup is defective.
