Double-sided simultaneous film forming method and apparatus |
abstract |
(57) [Problem] To efficiently form a thin film such as a hard coat layer (protective film) and an antireflection film on both sides of an eyeglass lens simultaneously by a dry method. The physical properties of the thin films formed on both sides of the spectacle lens are individually controlled. A method for simultaneously forming a film on both surfaces of an eyeglass lens, wherein the eyeglass lens is mounted on a flat substrate holder 21 and introduced into a vacuum processing chamber 11, and the substrate holder is rotated in a horizontal direction. A monomer gas and a plasma of a reactive gas are supplied to both sides of the glasses men's, respectively, and the monomer gas and the plasma-like reaction gas are reacted to form a thin film made of the reaction product on both sides of the glasses lens simultaneously. Film formation method. |
