titleOfInvention Primer composition for photocurable electroless plating and electroless plating method using the same
abstract (57) [Problem] To provide an electroless plating film having good adhesion to a non-conductive substrate having a smooth surface regardless of the material of the substrate, and to easily perform partial plating. Provided are a photocurable primer composition and an electroless plating method using the same. SOLUTION: When forming an electroless plating layer on the surface of a non-conductive substrate, prior to the application of a catalyst and the electroless plating, the surface of the substrate is derived from (A) a monohydric or polyhydric alcohol (meth). ) Pretreatment of plating by applying a photocurable primer composition containing an acrylate ester and (B) a photopolymerization initiator, curing the coating film by light irradiation to form a primer layer, and then immersing in a strongly alkaline aqueous solution I do. In the method of partially forming an electroless plating layer on the surface of the base material, the coating unnecessary portion of the coating film of the above composition is cured by light irradiation while shielding light through a mask, and the uncured coating film of the light shielding portion is cured. It is removed by washing to form a primer layer, which is then immersed in a strongly alkaline aqueous solution.
