abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition containing ethanol, a resin soluble in the same, an aluminum pigment and a coloring pigment, which can be used for writing on commonly used absorbent paper, especially colored absorbent paper. Provided is a metallic glossy ink for a writing instrument that can draw a beautiful metallic glossy drawing line with good coloring of a pigment, which is almost the same as absorbent paper. SOLUTION: It is composed of a resin soluble in ethanol, an aluminum pigment and a color pigment, and is used in combination with at least one kind selected from ethyl cellulose and polyvinyl butyral and at least one kind resin selected from an acrylic resin and polyvinyl pyrrolidone.
