Method for producing optically active 2-hydroxy-1-indanone and derivatives thereof |
abstract |
(57) [Summary] Optical activity 2 useful as a synthetic intermediate for pharmaceuticals and the like -Hydroxy-1-indanone and its derivatives are produced in an industrial mass production process. An optically active 2-hydroxy-1-indanone and an optically active derivative thereof are obtained by allowing a hydrolase to act on an ester derivative of 2-hydroxy-1-indanone. Further, an ester derivative of optically active 2-hydroxy-1-indanone and an optically active 2-hydroxy-1-indanone are obtained by reacting a hydrolase and an esterifying agent on 2-hydroxy-1-indanone. |
