PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for purifying a substantially anhydrous organic liquid in order to reduce the content of alkali metal and alkaline earth metal cations. SOLUTION: To purify a substantially anhydrous organic liquid, it is contacted with one or more cation exchange resins. The resin or at least one of the resins is 50 to 60. Wt% of polystyrene having a divinylbenzene content - -SO 3 and divinylbenzene copolymer to substrate H Or -SO 3 NH 4 form of the sulfonic acid type resin. |
