abstract (57) [Summary] [Problem] To provide a heat-sensitive recording material excellent in heat resistance and plasticizer resistance of a recorded image portion and a ground color (unrecorded portion). SOLUTION: The thermosensitive recording medium provided with a recording layer containing, as a main component, a colorless or pale color dye precursor and a color developer which reacts with the dye precursor to form a color, is provided on a support. The colorant is at least one compound represented by the following general formula (1), and at least one compound is contained in the recording layer. Contains polyurea compounds. Embedded image (Wherein, X represents an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom; Is an unsubstituted or substituted phenyl group, naphthyl group, aralkyl group, lower alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, cycloalkyl group having 3 to 6 carbon atoms, or 2 to 6 carbon atoms. Represents a lower alkenyl group. Z represents a lower alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms or an electron-withdrawing group. n represents an integer of 0 to 4, and p represents an integer of 1 to 5. Where n + p ≦ 5 Shall be satisfied. )
