titleOfInvention camera
abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a camera that manages the amount of discharge of a camera battery that is repeatedly discharged and charged when its remaining amount is equal to or greater than a predetermined capacity, and that can maintain the battery performance for a long time and can be charged safely. Power is supplied from a main battery to a camera circuit, and the main battery is charged at a constant current by a charger using an auxiliary battery such as an AA battery as a charging power source. When a camera operation such as a shutter button is performed while the main battery 34 is being charged, the charging of the main battery 34 is stopped, and the camera processing is prioritized, and the processing load on the CPU 70 is reduced. Further, the discharge amount of the main battery 34 is monitored by a shot counter, and when the shot counter is not zero, the charging of the main battery 34 is permitted, and the main battery 34 is always kept close to full charge.
