Nematic liquid crystal composition for plasma addressing liquid crystal display |
abstract |
An object of the present invention is to provide a nematic liquid crystal composition suitable for use in a plasma-addressed display (PAD). The present invention provides a nematic liquid crystal composition based on terminal and lateral fluorinated compounds and a dielectrically neutral compound, the composition comprising a conductivity controlling or adjusting agent. . This composition is particularly useful for plasma-addressed display devices and does not suffer the deleterious effects of afterimages. |
