titleOfInvention | Dental resin composition and dental restoration material |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve abrasion resistance and water absorption of a composition used as a crown and bridge material and a denture base material. The composition comprises (a) about 10% to about 30% by weight of a methacrylate oligomer, and (b) CH 2 CC. (CH 3 ) CO 2 (C 2 H 4 O) x C 6 H 4 C (CH 3 ) 2 C 6 H 4 (OC 2 H 4) y O 2 CC (CH 3) = have the structural formula of CH 2, x + y is an integer in a ethoxylated dimethacrylate Bisphenol A 65 to about 90 weight percent to 20, And (c) containing about 0 to about 40% by weight of an ethoxylated monomer as a diluent for decreasing the viscosity of the composition, and selecting a specific ratio from each range of each of these components to 100% by weight. I do. The use of this ethoxylated bisphenol A dimethacrylate reduces the relative amount of dimethacrylate oligomer. In addition, the use of the ethoxylated monomer improves the wettability of the cured resin composition. The composition is suitable for use for dental filling adhesives and the like, and provides improved water absorption and excellent abrasion resistance. |
