abstract (57) Abstract: The present invention relates to an ink jet recording sheet on which an image is formed by an ink jet printer. More specifically, the present invention relates to an ink jet recording sheet having excellent dot reproducibility. In an ink jet recording sheet provided with an ink receiving layer on a support, the ink receiving layer has a polyoxyalkylene glycol containing an ethylene oxide chain, a polyvalent carboxylic acid, a polyvalent carboxylic anhydride, and a polyvalent alkylene glycol. An ink jet recording sheet comprising a polymer compound having a weight average molecular weight of 10,000 or more prepared by reacting at least one selected from carboxylic acid lower alkyl esters.
