Developer carrier, developing device, developing method, image forming apparatus, and process cartridge |
abstract |
[PROBLEMS] To provide a developer carrier capable of obtaining a highly durable and stable image without causing deterioration of a conductive coating layer on a carrier surface due to repeated copying or durability. SOLUTION: In a developer carrier 8 having at least a substrate 6 and a coating layer 7 covering the substrate, the coating layer is composed of a binder resin and a number average particle diameter of 0 dispersed in the binder resin. A developer carrier characterized by containing at least conductive spherical particles having a density of 3 to 30 μm and a true density of 3 g / cm 3 or less and a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compound. |
