abstract |
(57) [Problem] To provide an affinity chromatography medium for imparting specific adsorption selectivity. SOLUTION: A chromatography medium exhibiting artificially created recognition of any preselected molecular species having only affinity-type adsorption is provided by a non-ionic monomer and a certain amount of species contained in a solution. From its solution, followed by removal of those species by conventional washing. The media has particular utility and importance when used to achieve protein affinity binding. Use of this medium involves chromatography and general isolation and removal of the adsorbed species. |
