abstract | (57) [Problem] To provide a nuclear fuel element and a method of manufacturing the same capable of flexibly responding to various fuel specifications without complicating a fuel manufacturing process. A nuclear fuel element (10) accommodates a region dividing inner tube (12) in a metal cladding tube (11) and divides it into two regions in the radial direction, and is divided into a central region (14) and a peripheral region (15). The central region 14 and the peripheral region 15 in the metal cladding tube 11 are filled with a particulate material such as a particulate fuel substance (including a fuel parent substance) and a particulate non-fuel substance (a diluent substance, a neutron absorbing substance or a neutron moderating substance) by vibration filling. And sealed. By vibrating and filling the metal cladding tube 11 with the particulate matter, nuclear fuel elements can be diversified, and can flexibly correspond to various fuel specifications. |
