PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibiotic having a novel molecular skeleton exhibiting antibacterial activity and antitumor activity against Gram-positive bacteria including methicillin-resistant bacteria. SOLUTION: The following formula (I): Was obtained by culturing Streptomyces sp. Strain MK393-AF2 as a novel antibiotic. Diperamicin is an antibiotic having antibacterial and antitumor activities against various bacteria. |
