abstract | (57) [Problem] To provide a thermosensitive recording medium excellent in water resistance and recording running property. According to one aspect of the present invention, there is provided a thermosensitive recording medium in which a thermosensitive recording layer containing a leuco dye and a color former and a protective layer are sequentially provided on a support. In the protective layer, a hydrophobic resin obtained by seed polymerization of at least (meth) acrylamide as a monomer or an acrylic hydrophobic resin having an average molecular weight of 5,000,000 or more is further contained in the protective layer to further protect the epoxy-modified silicone oil. The content is 1 to 10% by weight based on the total solid content of the layer. |
