titleOfInvention Paper coating agent and method for producing coated paper using the same
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating agent for paper capable of imparting excellent barrier properties to coated paper without causing stains on a dryer roll or a calender roll in a production process of coated paper, and a coating agent for paper. Provided is a method for producing a coated paper used. SOLUTION: (B) A polyvinyl alcohol having a 4% aqueous solution viscosity at 25C of 25 mPa ยท s or more and a saponification degree of 95 mol% or more with respect to 100 parts by weight of a carboxyl group-containing polyvinyl alcohol is 0.5 to 100. A paper coating agent prepared by blending parts by weight and a method for producing coated paper using the same.
