titleOfInvention Microbial carrier and method for purifying sewage using the same
abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a microorganism carrier that not only reduces the amount of sludge generated, but also increases the amount of microorganisms attached, and can more efficiently perform biological treatment of organic wastewater than before. , Provided is a method for purifying sewage that can perform sufficient treatment from anaerobic treatment to aerobic treatment to reduce the amount of generated sludge and also suppress the generation of offensive odor. The method comprises embedding at least one kind of fiber selected from polyvinylidene chloride, nylon, polyethylene, polypropylene and carbon fiber and acrylic fiber so as to form a large number of U-shaped loops on a backbone. A method for purifying sewage by performing aeration treatment using a microorganism carrier characterized by the above, and a treatment tank filled with the microorganism carrier.
