titleOfInvention | Shadow mask having insulating layer and method of manufacturing the same |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent most heat conduction to a perforated shadow mask by the heat insulating effect of an insulating layer, Provided is a shadow mask having an insulating layer that reduces a doming effect without applying an additional coating, and a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The effects of electron reflection and electron absorption occur directly inside the film, and due to the insulating effect of the film, the released heat is generated not in the perforated shadow mask but in the picture tube. Towards the end, on the cathode side of the perforated shadow mask portion of the shadow mask is to provide a thermal insulation layer of porous structured particles containing heavy metals or heavy metal compounds or both in their cavities. Since there is no covering layer, the release of heat to the inside of the picture tube is not hindered. In this way, the local temperature differences that increase the partial doming of the perforated shadow mask are greatly reduced. |
