titleOfInvention Manufacturing method of nuclear fuel pellet molded body
abstract (57) [Abstract] [Problem] To produce a molded body of nuclear fuel pellets, By microencapsulating the binder, a drying step and a granulation step are omitted, and a molded body having excellent strength can be obtained without changing equipment. SOLUTION: A binder is encapsulated in microcapsules having a diameter of 100 μm or less, mixed almost uniformly with uranium oxide powder, and then subjected to compression molding of the uranium oxide powder. The method is characterized in that the microcapsules are crushed, and an internal binder is penetrated between the particles of the uranium oxide powder to be molded.
