abstract (57) [Summary] [Problem] To provide high color sensitivity, good heat resistance, no dusting over time, and to prevent a decrease in color density at the time of printing after storing uncolored portions for a long period of time, and to prevent the adhesion of scum and the like. To provide a thermosensitive recording medium in which sticking is prevented. SOLUTION: In a thermosensitive recording medium provided on a support, an intermediate layer and a thermosensitive coloring layer containing a colorless or pale-colored basic colorless dye and an organic developer as main components, the intermediate layer comprises: The thermosensitive coloring layer contains hollow polymer particles having an opening obtained by cutting a part of the hollow polymer particles in a plane, and the heat-sensitive color-developing layer contains 4-hydroxy-4'-n-propoxydiphenyl sulfone as an organic developer. And a sulfonamide derivative represented by the following general formula (I). Embedded image (In the formula, Z represents a lower alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms or an electron-withdrawing group. N represents an integer of 0 to 2.)
